  1. I have a watercolor painting of Shirle’s named “Woven Peonies” which I bought in the 1980s in Lindstrom, MN. A portion of the painting was cut into strips and actually woven to create a wonderful effect. We have enjoyed this painting for years. Have never seen this technique in any other painting.

    1. its exciting to hear you lived it then and are still enjoying it. Would you take a phot if it and send it to me if you have a phone with a camera. I don’t think I have one but who knows. When the digital age happened I have photos in the computer, photos on CDs and print photos all of which I’ll likely never dig through. Thanks, Shirle
